Ever wondered why our BBQ’s are so delicious? Meet Gerald the guy behind the stove who we are so lucky to have, arguably the best chef in town with a huge 32 years of experience. He is the youngest of 3 children, one sister and brother. Gerald’s love for cooking stretches way back in 1988 after his longtime friend Valentino offered to freely train him. His first job came in 1989 as a home chef and as they say, the rest is history; Gerald has since then worked at big restaurants, hotels and even trained over 50 individuals before he joined White Nile in 2014. He doesn’t seem to have a preferred dish to cook as he likes mixing different spices and foods but what stands out to him the most is baking, making cookies, kebabs and cakes. Gerald says “Come rafting with us and you won’t regret, we have the best food”
